Founder of Your Photo Legacy
Melanie Jayne founded Your Photo Legacy to offer solutions to what she describes as one of the most typical but overlooked and neglected problems of the 21st century: the vast and ever-increasing quantity of our own precious collections of personal images that are unmanaged, dispersed across multiple locations, and are at great threat of becoming permanently lost.
With over a decade of experience of organising, digitising, re-housing and maintaining magnificent photographic collections at the British Library in London and State Library of Victoria in Melbourne, she is passionate about helping educate and empower her clients to take charge of their own personal heritage. She is a trained information management professional and certified photo manager with the Photo Managers, the world’s leading organisation in the rapidly growing field of photo management. She is also a contemporary artist working in the field of photographic based installation that revolves around the management of her own personal photographic archive.
